California man celebrating honeymoon killed in Barcelona terror attack, family says

Jared is survived by three teenage daughters, his mother and father, and three sisters.

Spanish authorities said they have detained four people in connection to both the incident in Cambrils early Friday that killed at least one person and the vehicle attack Thursday in Barcelona that killed at least 13.

"We just got the text - Jared's body was identified at the morgue by his wife", his father, Daniel Tucker, told the Daily News of NY. Tucker's father, Dan Tucker, stood outside his home in the San Francisco Bay Area town of Walnut Creek, scrolling through pictures on his phone in disbelief. "Well, I regret to inform you that my uncle Jared's name has been released as among the deceased from the Barcelona terrorist attack yesterday".

"Everybody loved him. He's been a partner working with me since he was 16 years old".

'I was looking for Jared the whole time.

"I'm just really pleased he had a few days of real happiness before this happened". We are in complete shock over this devastating news.

. "I can't put into words how she must be feeling", said Bridget Collins, whose daughter had Heidi as her sixth grade teacher previous year.

Tucker, who was excited to share this special anniversary trip with his soul mate, never mentioned any hesitation about visiting Europe, despite it being the target of a series of deadly terror attacks in recent years, according to a close friend.

The couple had made a decision to do a little shopping afterward at the nearby souvenir huts when he told her he was going to leave to find a restroom. We got a lot of people involved to see if they could find him.

"Next think I knew there's screaming [and] yelling", Nunes, 40, told NBC.

She was pushed inside the souvenir kiosk and stayed there hiding until the chaos was over.

"While these horrendous acts of hate occur in our world we can be a Christian community and respond with love, support and concern", says Jeannine Manguiat, the principal of El Sobrante Christian School, as she addressed the audience from the podium.

Although the United States State Department says an American citizen was wounded in the attack, they would not name or confirm an identity, and the family is reaching out through the International Red Cross and the US consulate without success so far, KGO-TV said.
