He believes that represents a fair value for the England global, who has no future at Goodison Park.

The England worldwide is expected to leave the Toffees this summer having fallen out-of-favour with manager Ronald Koeman.

The 23-year-old has just one year left on his contract and he's made it clear he won't sign an extension so boss Ronald Koeman has indicated he will cash-in if a suitable offer arrives. Today, Arsenal are ready to swoop for Ross Barkley...

The Telegraph reported on Friday that Tottenham and Chelsea are still hoping to sign Barkley in a cut-price £25m deal despite the midfielder suffering a hamstring injury in training last week.

It's unclear whether or not such an offer will be accepted by the Toffees, as they wait for an imminent bid from Chelsea as well.

Mauricio Pochettino has the lure of his success developing English talent and greater chances of game time.

Spurs and Chelsea have been tracking Barkley all summer and the newspaper suggests they are ready to do-battle over the England global as they expect Everton to lower their initial £50m asking price.

Barkley is yet to feature for Everton this season, although the club's official reason for that is due to injury.
