Japan will play England for the just the second time in a full test match on November 17, 2018, the Japan Rugby Football Union announced Wednesday.

It is about as punishing a schedule as England could have put together less than a year out from the World Cup and Jones wants his team to emerge from it as the world's No 1 team.

Eddie Jones' England side will face the All Blacks for the first time since 2014 at Twickenham.

"This will also be a good experience for the players to play in this historic venue in front of 80,000 spectators".

England will play world champions New Zealand, South Africa, Australia and Japan in next year's Autumn internationals at Twickenham Stadium. "But we would like to use this opportunity to the full".

Joseph's side will take on the All Blacks at home on November 3, 2018, at a venue to be decided.

Japan's autumn test schedule for this year sees them play a World XV in Fukuoka on October 28 and Australia at Yokohama's Nissan Stadium on November 4.

England have won 19 out of their 20 Tests under Jones, facing all major nations except Steve Hansen's All Blacks during that run.

"The series will give us a really good indicator of where we are as a squad, a year out from the Rugby World Cup, and gives us a real focus on what we have to do over the next 12 months to be ready for that series and win".

Meanwhile the All Blacks will grace Twickenham on November 5, to play the Barbarians, before completing their end-of-year tour against France, Scotland and Wales.
