Missing Miyapur girl Chandini Jain found murdered in Ameenpur hills

Police have turned to CCTV footage to track down the murderer, suspected to be someone close to the victim. As the body was found in a decomposed state, the cause of the death could not immediately be ascertained.Cyberabad Police Commissioner Sandeep Shandilya visited the scene.

THE last Chandni Jain's family saw of the 17-year-old was Saturday evening. "When I called her at around 6.30 pm, her phone was switched off". As per the family members reveal, she left the home around 7 AM in the morning and she did not return home. A kidnap case was booked on Saturday night, and an inquiry was launched.

As the incident unfolds, Chandini and Sai Kiran are classmates who were reportedly in love with each other. He said that the girl was pressurising him to continue the relationship and marry her, so he made a decision to get rid of her.

According to the reports, Chandini and Sai Kiran were friends from Class VI.

As news of Chandni Jain's death spread on Tuesday, a stunned silence descended upon the Bachupally campus of Silver Oaks The School of Hyderabad, where the 17-year-old was a student of Class 12. Upon reaching the place, the accused beat Chandini in anger as she repeatedly asked him to marry her. Forensics Science Laboratory (FSL), Hyderabad had mentioned that the body was recognized in a decomposed state.

"My sister said she is going to meet her friends and when she didn't come back even by 9, we went to the police, " NDTV quoted Chandni's sister Nivedita as saying.

"Wounds were found on both knees, while there were abrasions on the neck and stomach", one of the forensics experts said, adding that it was too early to conclude how the girl died.
