Ubisoft Massive's turmoil-filled The Division will be having a free weekend for PC users. The free trial will end at 10:00 PM CEST on September 17, 2017.

Go ahead and start pre-downloading Tom Clancy's The Division through your Uplay. In other words, those who consider purchasing the game will save up to 60%. The base game will be available to play for free, though you won't have access to any of the paid expansions. The standard and Gold editions of the game will be getting a discount as part of the promotion, though Ubisoft hasn't detailed how much this will be. Also, for anyone that purchases the game over the weekend will have all their progress carried over.

The Division came out apparently as an attempt for Ubisoft to make their own version of Destiny, a shared-world shooter with a lot of loot.

In addition to the free trial for PC gamers, Ubisoft is also giving massive discounts to those who would like to purchase the game.

In fact, the developer is preparing to release more contents and numerous assets in the next update.

Among the contents included in the Resistance Update [VIDEO] are the West Side Pier Map and the new PvE mode.

Online action role-playing game Tom Clancy's The Division hit PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 8, 2016.
