Cleveland Browns starting quarterback DeShone Kizer left the game in Baltimore for the team's fourth offensive series. Hogan hit rookie TE David Njoku for a 23-yard score on a five-play, 83-yard drive that was spurred by a 49-yard catch and run by TE Seth DeValve.

Kizer was listed as questionable to return. The Browns themselves quickly confirmed that diagnosis. He's been a starter from his first game of his rookie season, in which Cleveland won 10 games and fell just short of making the playoffs, and hasn't missed a snap in his career. He did not appear to suffer any sort of blow to the head. Kevin Hogan entered at quarterback and immediately made an impact.

Kizer left in the second quarter, after completing 6 of his 11 pass attempts, for 81 yards and an interception.

Hogan was a fifth-round pick of the Kansas City Chiefs in 2016 but was waived and claimed by the Browns last season.
