The Emmy Awards air this Sunday, the 17th at 8 PM Eastern, 5 PM Pacific. The 69th Primetime Emmy Awards will be held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, 17 September.

What time does the show begin?

Will you be tuning in live to watch the 2017 Emmy Awards live on CBS or will you be watching the Emmys online this year? Before the broadcast, fans can catch their favorite stars sashay down the red carpet on E! network during their annual "Live from the Red Carpet" special, beginning at 6 p.m. EST. Kate McKinnon is competing in the supporting actress race for her spoofs of former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and White House aide Kellyanne Conway on the live show that airs on Comcast Corp's NBC.

No cable, no problem! CBS, which will broadcast the show on Sunday, will also have a Facebook Live feed streaming from the red carpet as celebrities arrive. After last year's memorable hosting by Zimmy Kimmel, this year the event will be hosted by none other than Stephen Colbert, the ace talk show host from the television world.

There's a long list of big names on deck to help present the awards of the night, including: Nicole Kidman, Oprah Winfrey, Alec Baldwin, Tracee Ellis Ross, Reese Witherspoon, Edie Falco, Lea Michele, Debra Messing, Jason Bateman, Jessica Biel, Anna Faris, Rashida Jones, Shemar Moore, Kumail Nanjiani, Jim Parsons, Adam Scott and many more. The show airs on CBS so having the host of Late Night was a flawless pairing.
