Ronald Jones, 89, and his wife Penelope, 71, foster up to seven children at a time and the last eight were refugees, according to Elmbridge CAN, a community group that aims to "build a culture of welcome to refugees".

They are reported to be staying with friends while the search continued Sunday in the suburban town of Sunbury southwest of London.

The entire road was evacuated on Saturday while the initial investigations at the property were underway.

UK Home Secretary Amber Rudd denounced US President Donald Trump's tweet after Friday's London tube attack as "pure speculation".

"I never think it's helpful for anybody to speculate on what is an ongoing investigation", said May.

He stressed that intelligence cooperation between the United States and Britain is continuing and helps makes the British people safer.

Two men have been arrested in connection with the attack.

On Sunday, Scotland Yard said that a 21-year-old man had been arrested in Hounslow, south-west London, shortly before midnight.

The home-made bomb shot flames through a packed train carriage at west London's Parsons Green Tube station during the Friday morning rush hour but apparently failed to detonate fully. An 18-year-old man was arrested Saturday in Dover, where ferries leave for France.

The UK's threat level has been lowered from critical to severe after two people were arrested in connection with the terror attack on Parsons Green.

Britain's terror threat level remains at "critical" — the highest level — meaning that authorities believe another attack is imminent.
