Worker injured while reparing ride at Central Carolina Fair in Greensboro

It happened as a worker was trying to stabilize a leaning ride at the Central Carolina Fair at the Greensboro Coliseum, according to Public Relations Manager Andrew Brown.

Not many details have been released, but Greensboro police said the worker was trying to fix one of the malfunctioning cars on a Ferris wheel ride when the person fell to the ground. The employee climbed up and tried to dislodge it. He can then be seen on video losing his balance and falling to the ground.

The injured worker was taken by Guilford County emergency workers to a local hospital and has since been released. He has since been released. The ride has since passed inspection and was put back into use yesterday.
