Two infiltrators killed along India-Pak border

Vigilant BSF troops foiled an armed infiltration bid across International Boundary in Ajnala sector near Amritsar in Punjab on Tuesday.

It was reported that the incident took place near the global boundary in Ajnala sector in Amritsar. A Pakistan SIM card, four kgs of heroin and Pakistani currency worth Rs 20,000 has been recovered from the two, it said.

It was discovered that the BSF troopers were patrolling near the border where they found suspicious movement near the border.

When the troopers challenged the people, they opened fire.

In the attack, two of the Pakistan infiltrators were shot dead by the BSF. The fire was appropriately retaliated and infiltrators were neutralized near Border Security Fence.

As per reports, searches are underway to look out for more infiltrators and the entire area has been cordoned off by the security forces.

The border guarding force said it has recovered the bodies of the two.
