NY is coming off a 24-10 home loss to the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football, failing to come through as a three-point home favorite.

Unlike last season, the Lions (2-0) are off to a surprisingly good start, as the lone unbeaten team remaining in the NFC North. Detroit dropped three of four to begin a year ago before reeling off eight wins in nine games, and now the defending NFC champion Atlanta Falcons visit Motown looking to improve to 3-0 versus the division in 2017.

He watched practice from the sideline Wednesday.

Tahir Whitehead entered the game and replaced the 22-year-old Davis, who collected six tackles and his first career sack on Monday.

Starting center Travis Swanson and safety Tavon Wilson were also out, along with reserve running back Dwayne Washington. We'll see throughout the week if the injury to Vic Beasley affects the line. Download our Lions Xtra app for free on Apple and Android!
