The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has stopped former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his children from selling or transferring their property, Geo News reported on Thursday, citing unnamed sources in the anti-graft watchdog.

The order came on three cases submitted by the NAB against Sharif, his sons Hussain and Hassan, daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Captain Muhammad Safdar (retd).

The next hearing of the case is on September 26.

As the Sharif family is in London now so the summons was forwarded to NAB's International Coordination Wing.

A NAB Lahore team also raided finance minister Ishaq Dar's house in Islamabad hours after an accountability court issued bailable arrest warrants against the PML-N stalwart.

Meanwhile, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has chose to face the corruption references by appearing before the court and he has also informed the Sharif family about his decision.

The Sharif family is presently in London where Nawaz's wife, Kulsoom, is undergoing treatment for lymphoma.

Maryam and her husband Muhammad Safdar's departure has already triggered speculation that the entire Sharif family has gathered in London and may not return to face corruption and money laundering references filed against them in the accountability courts.
