Badoo: Police demolishes six shrines in Lagos

The Lagos State Police Command on Wednesday destroyed 6 shrines in the Agbowa area of Ikorodu, allegedly being used by members of the notorious Badoo cult group.

This discovery led to the immediate demolition of three other shrines in the area. The police raided the shrine and rescued the couple.

The source added, "the operator of the shrine (priest) was called to hypnotise and keep the woman in the shrine, but was said to have the intention of killing her for ritual when the Police stormed the shrine".

The raid, as gathered, followed intelligence report that they were used for criminal activities. We got information about the shrines from some members of the public.

A couple who were rescued by officers led policemen to some of the shrines and a suspect who claims to be a native doctor was arrested.

A couple looking for spiritual help have been rescued from a ritualist shrine as they were about to be used for ritual. The shrines were located in the Agbowa area of Ikorodu, Lagos State.
