New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony is still looking for a way out of the Big Apple, and the Portland Trail Blazers may be his most realistic landing spot with the start of training camp approaching.

Should a "Hail Mary attempt" by Anthony's camp to land him with the Houston Rockets come up short, he could waive his no-trade clause and facilitate a move to the Blazers, FS1's Jason McIntyre reported Thursday.

Scott Perry (manager of the Knicks) and Steve Mills (president of the Knicks) will address the media on Friday and will have all the answers to the questions we are all asking about the Carmelo Anthony trade. Anthony wasn't one of the players mentioned. "Reshaping the Knicks as a championship contender will be a step-by-step process, and along the way, the plan will demand patience, as our young core of Kristaps Porzingis, Tim Hardaway Jr., Willy Hernangómez, Frank Ntilikina and Ron Baker mature". Change is a good thing, though, and Anthony is ready for that change and anxious to see if he will be traded to the Houston Rockets (if he is traded).

The Knicks have missed the playoffs the last four seasons and don't believe they can rebuild around a 33-year-old Melo. He was born in Brooklyn New York so I am sure it has been a huge honor for him to play for his states National Basketball Association team. Isola said Anthony's wife, La La, was expecting that the trade would happen two weeks ago but the Knicks and the Rockets failed to reach an agreement.
