In the biggest grudge match Bellator has featured since Sonnen vs. Silva, welterweights Lorenz Larkin, fresh off a Bellator debut loss for the title against Douglas Lima, and English vet Paul Daley went to war.

Larkin signed with Bellator earlier this year after becoming one of the hottest free agents in MMA following his UFC 202 thumping of Neil Magny last August. With just over a minute left another combo from Larkin saw shots land; Daley answered back, but this time slipped after attempting a head kick.

Larkin made his promotional debut in NY in the summer, when he was given an immediate title shot after deciding against re-signing with the UFC, but he came unstuck against reigning champion Douglas Lima. Nothing but kicks thrown through the first minute. Larkin lost a unanimous decision and is hoping a win over Daley will get him a step closer to another championship opportunity.

"I don't really see him as an enemy, like any guy that I've ever stepped in the cage with", Daley said during a recent interview with MMA Fighting. "That's the only two guys in over 53 fights". Larkin lands a nasty leg kick around the calf area.

They meet I the center of the cage as Daley looks to be pushing forward a little bit more. The kicks continued, while Daley looked to find range with his jab. Daley swings for the fences with a right hand, but Larkin read it easily and ties Daley up against the cage. A straight left by Larkin backed Daley up, but Daley covered up and escaped harm. Larkin avoids it as he tries to defend another Daley takedown. "Semtex" follows up with a hammer fist and it is all over.
