Man United fans adamant on Lukaku's penis song + lyrics

Jose Mourinho believes his Manchester United players struggled against Southampton due to the heat at St Mary's.

One can not really blame Mourinho as Southampton had really begun to pressurize the Red Devils defense which by the end of the ninety minutes was six defenders strong what with Daley Blind and Chris Smalling being subbed on.

Romelu Lukaku's first-half effort was enough to earn all three points for United, who were on the back foot for large parts of the second period.

"I don't think Romelu Lukaku would say it was racist".

The Saints had plenty of chances and dominated the midfield and while watching the game, I couldn't help think that United were missing Paul Pogba.

Anthony Martial must wait to discover if he has played his way back into Manchester United's starting line-up for the Premier League visit to Southampton after scoring for the second consecutive game. Eddie Howe's side have now lost 28 points from winning positions since the start of last season - more than any other Premier League side. "And then, we defended, and we did what nearly everybody else is doing in the Premier League, which is to play with five at the back".

The club and player have been clear in asking for an end to the chant. Great spirit, always trying but not the same sharpness. "The only music that I hear clearly, is when the opponents send me a walk", said the Portuguese, ensuring that the fans had been " fantastic ". I didn't feel like we could score three or four goals, like we sometimes do, so the option was to make sure we got the points.

But the plea appears to have falling deaf ears as fans launched into a rendition of the chant in the 20th minute, followed by chants of "we'll sing what we want".

"To play with this spirit and with this football we will win more games than we lose and we have to continue in this way".

The common narrative from this result will be that of United grinding out a win like champions do when they aren't playing well and how that's the sort of thing that wins titles.
