Minnesota Vikings need Case Keenum to be better against Tampa Bay Buccaneers

On Friday, Vikings coach Mike Zimmer ruled Bradford out for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers. This is for two reasons. There is no more important player on the Vikings roster than their quarterback, Sam Bradford.

"This particular issue we're dealing with, I'm not sure if I've ever dealt with it before", Bradford said earlier this week.

It was previously revealed that Minnesota Vikings starting quarterback Sam Bradford would not be on the field for the second consecutive week when the NFC North franchise takes on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 3.

On Sunday, Evans will have a pair of touchdowns and 100 yards receiving, but will be the only Buccaneers player to produce.

The Buccaneers were 24th in the league against the run past year, and after breaking three runs of 25 yards or more in his first two games, rookie Dalvin Cook could be counted on for a big day. Against Winston, a timely takeaway or two could make the difference this week. Rookie Kendell Beckwith will step in for him at middle linebacker, with Adarius Glanton likely stepping in at strongside linebacker. They were essentially the weak links on an otherwise pretty stacked defense and while Waynes has played awful (and it pains me, deeply, to say that) the rest of the defense struggled against the Steelers (mainly due to the onslaught of penalties they created). "All I know about is this week".

Either way. Easton and company (as well as Trae Waynes, who really, really needs a good game) need to bounce back against a very beatable Bucs team this Sunday.

Simply put, he needs to be better.

For this Vikings team, when the defense leads the way, the team tends to have fantastic performances.
