VP Mike Pence set to visit Huntsville Monday

US Vice President Mike Pence is set to visit NASA's Marshall Space Flight Centre in Alabama on Monday which is building the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket along with the other technologies and systems needed to send astronauts into deep space.

The visit had been planned but was canceled Friday night only to be re-scheduled Saturday.

According to officials, Pence will tour the Marshall Space Flight Center for an update on the progress of the Space Launch System rocket and International Space Station science operations as the agency prepares for missions to deep space, around the Moon and ultimately to Mars.

That evening, Pence will depart for Birmingham, where he is scheduled to speak at a rally for unusual, who is facing off against former Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore on Tuesday in the Republican primary runoff to fill the Senate seat.

President Donald Trump appeared with odd at a Friday night rally in Huntsville. Trump said he supports unusual and thinks he has the best chance of holding the seat against Jones.
