The college basketball season is rapidly approaching as the ASU women's basketball tip off their season in 32 days.

OR was picked to finish fourth in the Pac-12 during a preseason men's basketball media poll released Thursday prior to the conference's annual media day.

Arizona State are entering a new era with seniors Sophie Brunner, Quinn Dornstauder and Kelsey Moos all graduated as the young backcourt headlined by Haines, Reili Richardson, Kiara Russell and Robbi Ryan looking to lead the charge.

Stanford was picked to finish fifth followed by Arizona State and Utah.

To some, it might be a little surprising to see Arizona State at six, but it shows the incredible depth this conference has.

Freshman guard Payton Pritchard is the lone returning starter from last year's run to the Final Four and one of three returnees who played last season. Cal was tabbed 11th followed by Washington State.

It goes to show the depth this conference has and how many teams can win the Pac-12 title and make the NCAA Tournament. The Wildcats are predicted to be a national title contender.

Arizona returns three starters from last year's squad, which shared the Pac-12 regular-season title with OR and then went on to win the conference tournament.
