The King of Cruiserweights may seem to be goneWhat's the story?

Regarding Neville's WWE status, sources have confirmed that he walked out of Monday's RAW in Indianapolis before the show hit the air.

This week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter offers a fresh update on the situation, with Dave Meltzer claiming that "the belief within the company is that he's gone".

PWInsider reports that Neville did not walk out before Raw because he was never there.

Pro Wrestling Sheet broke the news that Neville may have quit the WWE and that he was originally planned to wrestle Enzo Amore for the Cruiserweight Championship, but left before the start of the show. There was talk of the match being made non-title, but then it was revealed that Neville wouldn't be there so the change to Kalisto was made.

Neville's seemingly imminent WWE departure dominated yesterday's headlines.

Neville was originally planned to face Enzo for the Cruiserweight Championship on Raw, but PWInsider says the title match was nixed when they were reminded of the rematch clause Neville broke by attacking Enzo. The Observer adds that the current plan is to get the title back on Enzo.

The site says two sources said that Neville has pushed for a release with the idea of leaving the company and building his name outside of it, similar to what Drew McIntyre did prior to his return to NXT.
