Swinney was a wide receiver on the '92 team, which upset top-ranked Miami in the Sugar Bowl to finish 13-0.

According to multiple reports including the Tuscaloosa News, Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney is now scheduled to attend as well as Clemson coaches Woody McCorvey, Danny Pearman, Lemanski Hall, and director of recruiting and external affairs Thad Turnipseed.

After his team faces the Syracuse Orange on Friday night, Swinney will be making the trip to Bryant-Denny Stadium for Alabama's SEC clash with Arkansas for a special halftime celebration.

After his playing career came to an end, Swinney, a native of Pelham, Alabama, joined the Alabama coaching staff as a graduate assistant. On Saturday, it's coach Dabo Swinney's turn. From there, Swinney has led the Tigers to three ACC titles, a national runner-up finish in 2015 (a 45-40 loss to Alabama) and a national title in 2016 (a last-second 35-31 win over the Tide). He was named the permanent head coach the following season. Clemson is ranked No. 2 behind - who else?
