Cathryn Gorospe, 44, hasn't been seen since Friday when she posted bail for her 27-year-old friend Chalie Malzahn at Coconino County Jail in Flagstaff, Arizona, according to The Arizona Republic.

Her roommate became concerned when she didn't come home or return her phone calls, Fox 10 reported.

The Deer Valley Unified School District sent out a letter to parents alerting them about the missing teacher.

Malzahn was questioned by police, and he didn't have any information to tell them.

Tucson police say Malzahn tried to but items at a mall with Gorospe's credit and debit cards last Saturday afternoon and he may have been driving her SUV.

So far, police have only been able to track down Malzahn, who was arrested on Monday.

He was arrested on charges of unlawful flight, resisting arrest, attempted escape and aggravated assault.

Police say he still won't tell them the whereabouts of Cathryn Gorospe.

Later on Saturday, Malzahn allegedly drove Gorospe's auto to met an acquaintance to buy drugs and a gun.

'We fear harm has come to her, ' Flagstaff Police Sgt. Cory Runge said in a statement.

He had been jailed since August 20 on charges of theft of a means of transportation, being a prohibited possessor of a gun and possessing a gun during the commission of a felony. A police report discovered that he was arrested in August for carjacking his sister, leading to the charges against him, reported this week. "Charles pulled out a black handgun and [his sister] stopped the vehicle and took her children out".
