On Thursday, CBS announced that the David Boreanaz series, which follows a team of elite Navy Seals, would be getting a full season.

SEAL Team, which debuted September 27, has ranked as Wednesday's No. 1 program in viewers over the first two weeks of its season, averaging 12.04 million viewers and a 2.0 in the 18-49 demographic.

The series has been a solid ratings performer for the network already. ABC's The Good Doctor, starring Freddie Highmore, is the other freshman series to get an early full-season order.

SEAL Team fans can breathe a sigh of relief. The network confirmed their commitment to SEAL Team just two weeks into its first season. Benjamin Cavell, Ed Redlich, Christopher Chulack, Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly are executive producers.

CBS has given a full season order to new drama SEAL Team. Boreanaz plays Jason Hayes, the leader of the team.

The series airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. Deployed on clandestine missions worldwide at a moment's notice, and knowing the toll it takes on them and their families, this tight-knit SEAL team displays unwavering patriotism and fearless dedication even in the face of overwhelming odds.
