The app is going to feature context cards going forward, which will come attached to locations and show information about that particular place, such as reviews, reservations, and more.

What do you think about Snap's latest feature?

Snapchat is becoming a more useful app with the introduction of Context Cards.

More notable recent Snap Inc (NYSE:SNAP) news were published by: Investorplace.com which released: "Snap Inc (SNAP) Stock Has Two More Big Problems" on October 05, 2017, also Fool.com with their article: "Why Snap, Inc". The firm's market capitalization is $24.20 billion.

Context Cards appear in a feed-like waterfall, with the first providing basic info including the name and category, as well as ratings sourced from partners including TripAdvisor and Foursquare.

"We know the simple act of swiping up on a snap to reserve a table will provide an experience that our diners and restaurants will love", OpenTable's senior vice president of strategy and business development Catherine Porter said.

The feature has been rolled out in the United States, the UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand on both Android and iOS.

Just yesterday Snap Chat (NYSE:SNAP) traded 2.16% higher at $15.26. The company had revenue of $181.70 million for the quarter, compared to analyst estimates of $186.49 million. The market research firm had earlier in March slashed the domestic ad revenue forecast from $805 million to $770 million.

Context Cards will be available automatically for any Snaps that have been added to the regional Our Story feature or sent with a venue-specific geofilter. It recently collaborated with artist Jeff Koons to unveil an art platform and rolled out 3D Bitmoji World Lenses last month. Additionally, the feature will be on snaps posted on Snap Map and on an "Our Story", which are Snapchat-curated public collections of user snaps.

What Are Snapchat's Context Cards All About?

A slowdown in user base may look unattractive to them.

Additionally, Snap has integrated Context Cards into Stories which makes it possible to see other snaps from locations similar to the ones you checked out.

However, competition from Facebook (FB) poses a serious threat to the company.

Some analysts and tech news portals agreed that the move has the potential to make Snapchat a better destination for users in the organisation of their everyday lives - in much the same way as WeChat is used in China, Mashable's Kerry Flynn suggested.

Want to see what other hedge funds are holding SNAP? It's a once-in-a-generation opportunity to invest in pure genius.
