The South Alabama Jaguars and Troy Trojans meet Wednesday in college football action at Veterans Memorial Stadium on ESPN2. The Jaguars have struggled on offense this season, posting just 23.6 points and 329 yards per contest. The Trojans are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 home games, 8-17 ATS in their last 25 games in October and 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games overall. But freshman kicker Evan Legassey missed his second short field goal of the game with 3:01 left.

The South Alabama Jaguars are 0-2 while on the road this season, 0-1 against conference opponents and 1-3 against non-conference opponents. Davis threw for 120 yards, including a 49-yard screen to Minter in the fourth, and one touchdown to Malik Stanley. Cole Garvin is completing 53.2 percent of his passes for 447 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.

There were four turnovers in the first half - with three coming in a five-play span early in the second quarter. Brandon Silvers has thrown for 1,241 yards and two touchdowns to lead the offense while Jordan Chunn has 490 rushing yards with six touchdowns. Deondre Douglas and Emanuel Thompson have combined for 465 receiving yards and one touchdown while Damion Willis has 14 receptions. Defensively, Troy is allowing 18.6 points and 339.8 yards per game. The Troy Trojans have won seven of their last eight home games.

Troy is 4-1 on the season thanks to a four-game winning streak. On offense, Troy is putting up 24 points and 431.6 yards per contest. The Trojans have hit the under in 10 of their last 12 conference games and four straight against a losing team. While Troy should have success against the South Alabama defense, I don't think it will be enough to carry the over. Get $60 worth of FREE premium member picks.
