Oil prices edge up on signs of tightening market

Oil markets edged up on Friday, recovering some of the previous day's losses, as analysts pointed to signs of a tightening market.

According to the source, the price for November Futures WTI oil increased by 0,33%, totalling to $51,46 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX).

To note, one barrel equals 158,988 liters.

Crude prices had strengthened after the Energy Information Administration reported this week that inventories fell by, marking the fourth straight weekly decline. Iraq's oil ministry expects to bring the fields back on stream on Sunday.

Elsewhere, were up 0.74% at $1.66 a gallon, while dipped 0.10% to $2.873 per million British thermal units.
