Gilmore fully participated in practice for four days leading up to the team's next game before being officially added to the injury report on October 14, which might have been a result of him self-reporting concussion-type symptoms at that time.

Outside linebacker Harvey Langi missed the practice as well and NFL Media's Ian Rapoport is reporting the injuries he sustained from his vehicle accident last Friday will likely keep him out the rest of the season.

Earlier this week, Patriots head coach Bill Belichick was asked if the former Buffalo Bills defensive back in Gilmore was signed due to his team's inability to slow down rangy receivers like Jones.

Elandon Roberts, who has been dealing with an ankle injury, is questionable, . He hasn't practiced since.

In addition, the Patriots removed running back Rex Burkhead from the injury report, paving the way for his return to action for the first time since injuring his ribs September 17.

The Patriots knew all week Rowe wouldn't play against the Falcons. He was removed from the injury report Friday.
