The Kerala police on Saturday took into custody two vehicles of a private security agency that provides security to actor Dileep.

Meanwhile, the police will examine the situation that led the actor to arrange security.

Media reports say that the tight security has been arranged to prevent mobs from attacking the actor, as there is considerable public outrage against him over the assault case. "Upon finding that everything was in order, the vehicles and the staff were released", said inspector of police, Kottarakkara, A. Sunil.

"The police had no clue when reports emerged about some armed personnel in convoy vehicles visiting the actor". The vehicles were taken into custody based on such information. We can not say why, but they were let off after verifying the papers. Three members of the Thunder Force will always accompany the actor.

Earlier, Dileep hired the services of "Thunder Force" which deployed three personnel for his round the clock security.

The security agency has offices in Thrissur and Palakkad and retired IPS officer PV Valsan is in charge of the agency in Kerala. The security agency has over 100 employees in Kerala and is functioning in the state for past four years.

Dileep came out on bail on October 3 after 85 days of imprisonment.
