Zlatan Ibrahimovic could play for "five or six more years", according to his agent Mino Raiola.

The former pizza boy told the story how he got together with the Swedish star, while he claimed "I think God sent Zlatan to me".

Zlatan Ibrahimovic took the Premier League by storm last season and was Manchester United's stand-out player before injury struck.

The Swede star, 36, is now working his way back to full fitness after injuring knee ligaments in the Europa League clash against Anderlecht in April.

Ibrahimovic signed a fresh one-year deal with Manchester United over the summer after which it is unclear what his next move will be. I won't let him stop He has to work for me now. He has to work for me now. I think minimum another five or six years.

"I have been working for him for several years, now it's my turn". My children are grown up and I need money. "So we've turned it around - I get the salary and he gets the commission".

Accepting such a unusual request illustrates how intensely the two work together, and it is that closeness that allows Raiola to recount how Ibrahimovic felt following his knee injury. But I knew - and was afraid - that it was much worse.

'We have agreed that he is only working for me for five years now.

"Yes, they [medical scientists] want to [study his knee], Fu says so", said Raiola.

"He says he has never seen such a strong and pure knee after such a long career as Zlatan has had". Imagine all the bangs.

"This is a professor who takes care of athletes from all over the world and works with American football teams".

Ibrahimovic playing top level football into his fifth decade would be quite something, but whether he'll emulate Ryan Giggs and represent the Red Devils into his 40's remains to be seen.
