Three Separate Ace Attorney Games Being Released For Nintendo Switch In 2018

Capcom recently confirmed that they are developing Switch titles for a release in the Spring of next year, which will certainly fall within the same time frame of the compilations talked about above.

Tsujimoto's remark gives the impression that what fans will see in the Nintendo Switch is a brand-new iteration of the hit game although there is also a possibility that the "Ace Attorney" title coming to the console could end up being a remaster or a remake instead.

This specific configuration makes a lot of sense, because Capcom has previously re-released the games on iOS - which already has 1-3 and 4-6, in separate apps, updated for HD on a single screen touch screen device - and 3DS, the first three being bundled as Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy.

As for the second compilation, it will include Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney; Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies; and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice.

A few days ago we reported on the news that Capcom had pledged further software support to the Nintendo Switch, with the beloved Ace Attorney series getting a mention as a future release. The new game is planned to contain five cases at launch, and features Phoenix Wright returning as the playable protagonist of the story. But this would be not only a hearty way of bringing the Ace Attorney series to the Switch, but also show that Capcom is ready to support the system with a variety of projects. This could be the start of something bigger.
