Trade fair tickets at Metro stations

Inaugurating the 37th India International Trade Fai r (IITF) at Pragati Maidan here, Mr Kovind said the country has shown tremendous progress in trade on the global level, which reflected in the improved rankings on Ease Of Doing Business.

The theme this year is, "Startup India Standup India".

'IITF or Trade Fair, as it is commonly known, has become an institution in our commercial and future calendars, ' he added. Jharkhand is participating as the Partner State.

The 14-day event will be held from November 14 to 27 where the first four days will be reserved for business visitors. For general public, the trade fair will open from 18th to 27th of November. Business visitor registration counters will take place at Gate number one (of Maidan) and the ticket is priced at Rs 500. While the general tickets will cost R60 and R40 for adults and children respectively on working days, ticket prices will increase to R120 and R60 on weekends."For the first time this year, there will be no tickets sold at the gates of Pragati Maidan", said Sanjay Vashistha, the deputy manager (PR) at ITPO.Last year, the average footfall was around 1.5 lakh people per day.

Tickets for both business, as well as general days, can be purchased from the Customer Care Centres of Metro stations from 08:30 am to 05:00 pm on all days, it said.

The 42 stations include Dilshad Garden, Rithala, ITO, Delhi Gate, Jama Masjid, Janpath, Lajpat Nagar, Govind Puri, Badarpur, Escorts Mujesar, New Delhi, Dhaula Kuan, Sikanderpur, Huda City Centre and Noida City Centre, across all corridors. However, on Saturday and Sunday as well as any holiday between November 18-27, the ticket price for adults will be Rs 120 and Rs 60 for children.
