While turkey will now cost less for all Whole Foods customers, Amazon Prime members will receive an additional 20% off.

According to a press release, this offer is a "sneak preview" of what it will be like when Prime becomes the official rewards program of Whole Foods.

Any Whole Foods customer will be able to purchase organic or non-antibiotic turkeys at a reduced price of $3.49 per pound and $2.49 per pound, respectively. All fresh turkeys sold at Whole Foods Market must meet the grocer's strict quality standards, including no antibiotics, no animal by-products in their feed, and animal welfare audits by third-party certifiers like Global Animal Partnership.

Amazon is giving Whole Foods shoppers an early gift for the holidays.

"These are the latest new lower prices in our ongoing integration and innovation with Amazon, and we're just getting started", John Mackey, Whole Foods' co-founder and CEO, said in a statement.

Whole Foods also announced it is cutting prices on boneless skinless chicken breasts, shrimp, Russet potatoes, bagged salad mixes, broccoli, organic eggs and milk from Organic Valley, Applewood hot dogs, and Chobani and Fage yogurt.

To redeem the discount, Amazon is offering a printable coupon only accessible to Prime members on its website.
