Arsenall boss Arsene Wenger has hinted he'll consider selling Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil in the January transfer window if the pair fail to commit their long-term futures to the club.

The Frenchman signed a new two-year deal at the end of last season, following Arsenal's FA Cup final win over Chelsea, and a day after saying global management would interest him after his club career, Wenger was non-committal when asked about his future.

"They are a good side but they are not an unstoppable side", he told BeIN Sports (via Sky Sports).

Arsenal are now sixth in the table, 12 points behind leaders Manchester City, and face Tottenham in a massive north London derby this weekend.

Arsène Wenger, who talked past year about the idea of being England manager, has spoken of the possibility of a move into global football and being involved at the 2022 World Cup.

Asked whether he could manage at the 2022 World Cup, the Frenchman added: "Maybe, maybe on the bench..." "I don't know more than you, maybe, maybe not, but at the moment only one team has done it".

The Arsenal coach, who according to some reports was the Football Association's first choice for the England manager's post after the departure of Roy Hodgson in 2016, has 18 months to run on his contract at the Emirates but says the idea of managing a national team at a World Cup is a tempting prospect. "We'll have to think about that to see where we stand at the end of December".
