Former Vice President Joe Biden would crush President Donald Trump in the 2020 general election if it were held today, a poll released Wednesday morning showed.

A Politico/Morning Consult poll finds in a potential 2020 matchup, 46 percent of voters would support Biden, compared with 35 percent who would back Trump.

Among white voters, Biden stood at 41 percent and Trump at 40.

Biden leads Trump in the Midwest by 9 points (45 percent -36 percent). "Notably, 86% of Democrats say they would vote for a generic Democrat over Trump, but only 78% of Democrats say they prefer Biden over Trump".

"I honest-to-God haven't made up my mind about that", Biden, who turns 75 later this month, said to NBC's Savannah Guthrie and Matt Lauer in a recent interview. He has said he is "not closing the door" on a White House bid in 2020.

Former President Barack Obama and his vice president, Joe Biden, will not only be immortalized in the history books, but on the internet, as memes.

Biden, who previously served as a USA senator representing DE, also recently challenged Trump's nationalist "America first" policies.
