As Pink and Corden jammed through her hits-from "Get the Party Started" to "Beautiful Trauma" from her new album by the same name-they arrived at plenty of other fascinating revelations, including that she once went on a "friend date" with former NSYNC singer Joey Fatone.

Pink told Corden about her childhood crush on Jon Bon Jovi and how devastated she was to learn that the rock star had married his high school sweetheart Dorothea Hurley.

She even sang the first song she ever wrote during the ride. "I'm Coming Up", "Just Like A Pill", and "Beautiful Trauma". "It was the first time someone ever broke my heart", she said, remembering how she ripped his posters off her wall in grief. We did a radio show in New Jersey and I think I was like, 22, and I was like, "How are you guys?" All was going well until she made a decision to prove to Corden that it was possible to sing better while hanging upside down (as she has been known to do).

"The flower basket was like life-size, and there was a pair of leather trousers with a note that said, 'Now you can finally get into my trousers, '" she said. "When you ask him how he's doing, he tells you how his wife is". She added. But the amusing didn't stop there because he went on to send her an unusual gift in the mail - one that her own husband Carey Hart wasn't too happy about. Laughing, she said: "When I was 14 I wrote a song called Generation X. Generation X it's our time!"

"It wasn't weird, it was a joke", she insisted.

"My dad actually thought Joey was very charming", Pink explained.
