Like Logan Lucky, Soderbergh is self-distributing Unsane through his Fingerprint Releasing via Bleecker Street. Oh, and Unsane was shot entirely on an iPhone.

Insert joke here about Steven Soderbergh not staying retired for long. Pharoah stars alongside Juno Temple, Claire Foy, Amy Irving, and Aimee Mullins.

The storyline apparently focuses on a young woman who is interned in a psychiatric hospital against her will, where she finds herself facing her greatest fear.

March 23, the weekend prior to the gangbusters Easter B.O. frame, is a busy one with Paramount's Sherlock Gnomes and Johnny Knoxville comedy Action Point opening as well as Open Road's Midnight Sun with Bella Thorne and Patrick Schwarzenegger, Legendary/Universal's Pacific Rim Uprising and Fox Searchlight's Wes Anderson film Isle of Dogs in limited release. But is it real or just in her imagination?

The project's working title is "Unsane". It's due to premiere January 22 on the American cable channel. Sean Baker pulled off that particular trick back in 2015, with Tangerine. Also filmed on iPhone are Iranian filmmaker Jafar Panahi's documentary This is Not a Film and French director Michel Gondry's short film called Détour.
