When the sexual assault allegations against Harvey Weinstein broke, tons of women came out against the former movie mogul, while others were inspired to come out against other Hollywood names. The former National Football League player and current star of Brooklyn Nine-Nine first tweeted about his own experience of sexual assault last month (after which he filed a report with the LAPD) and this morning he bravely shared details of the shocking episode, from which he admits to having suffered PTSD.

"My wife and I were at an event with Adam Sandler - and the thing is, [Venit is] also Adam Sandler's agent, he's Sylvester Stallone's agent, he's Eddie Murphy's agent, and he's connected to probably everyone I know in the business", Crews told Strahan.

Strahan then asked about the police report, to which Crews responded: 'You know, people need to be held accountable, Mike. At the time, Terry Crews took to the Twitter where he said the rise in sexual allegations was giving him PTSD from when something inappropriate happened to him. "I was horrified", Crews said. "I have never had a conversation with him, ever", Crews said. "It was actually so freaky", Crews said. "I jump back like, 'Hey, hey'". Eventually, Crews says he became angrier and shoved him back into a crowd of party-goers, but the actor didn't want to escalate the incident any further so he left with his wife. And then I really got forceful, pushed him back.

"He was acting so weird and so odd I put myself between, you know, him and my wife because with his tongue thing, I couldn't understand", the "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" star explained. "But this is the deal, my wife told me three years earlier, 'Terry, you can never handle any situation like this with violence. What is his problem?'" According to Crews, Sandler didn't understand either because it was "bizarre to both of us".

Crews explained how he put himself between Venit and his wife, Rebecca King-Crews, because he didn't understand "with this tongue thing" what was going on.

Crews went public with his account last month in a series of tweets, at the time identifying Venit only as "a high level Hollywood executive".

'I was like, "Adam, what is wrong with your boy".

He said he will not stand for people asking him why he didn't come forward sooner or blaming the victim. "I have totally said I will not be shamed. You're diggin" tunnels with spoons, you're trying to find a way out, and you get out and then you finally find freedom and somebody says, 'It must not be that bad.
