Drake has been praised for sticking up for his female fans after the rapper stopped a gig in Sydney, Australia mid-song to threaten a male concert-goer who he had spotted groping women in the crowd.

In the middle of his performance, videos show Drake had suddenly told the sound operators to stop the music. "If you don't stop touching girls, I'm gonna come out there and f**k you up". Since then, social media has also lit up with support for Drake, some citing the importance of his actions amid many allegations of sexual harassment in recent news.

Drake is now in Australia for a series of shows under his "Boy Meets World" tour. In the video, it seemed like the accused fan tried to reason with him and kept on insisting his innocence, but Drake was not buying it. "If you don't stop putting your hands on girls I'm going to come out there and f**k your a** up (sic)".

When the police were called, the woman started "spitting at three deputies before being blasted with pepper spray".
