The transfer window may be closed but clubs are still working hard ahead of January and next summer so we'll bring you all the latest gossip from around the globe.

One of the brightest young players in the English Premier League this season has been Richarlison, a Brazilian winger who now plays for Watford and that has emerged as a huge attacking weapon for the side.

Arsenal are ready to battle it out with Tottenham Hotspur over the signing of Watford's £25m-rated attacker Richarlison, according to a report in the Mirror.

The 20-year-old has been a shining light for the impressive Hornets under Marco Silva, scoring five goals and registering four assists for teammates in 12 games - his most recent strike coming on Sunday against West Ham in another fine performance.

Arsenal look especially invested in the youngster as they need a new suitable signing to potentially replace superstar Alexis Sanchez and although Richarlison is still very young, he could prove to be a good signing for the Gunners.

Richarlison would be a direct replacement for Sanchez as he's predominantly played from the left wing but is capable of playing anywhere across the attacking positions if needed.
