Brock Boeser scored twice and Daniel Sedin inched closer to a major National Hockey League milestone, leading the Vancouver Canucks to a win over the slumping Philadelphia Flyers. Sven Baertschi scored a power-play goal, Henrik Sedin had two assists and Loui Eriksson added an empty-net goal and an assist for the Canucks.

Jacob Markstrom made 35 saves for the Canucks. Voracek's goal cut his team's deficit to 4-1 midway through the third period, but that's as close as the Flyers would come to tying the game up. Ivan Provorov also scored a goal for Philadelphia in the loss.

The Canucks won't have a day off to rest, they are back on the ice on Wednesday when they take on Pittsburgh.
