Danny Rose has told Sky Sports that there was no argument between himself and Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino ahead of the North London derby, but admitted that he was fuming with the decision to rest him for the game against Arsenal.

Rose was back in the team for Tuesday's 2-1 UEFA Champions League win over Borussia Dortmund, and speaking after the game said: "There was no falling out".

However, he also stood by his decision to leave him out of the north London derby and warned that more squad rotation would be required in the hectic schedule to come.

But Jenas, working as a pundit for BT Sport confirmed Monday's Sun exclusive revealing the 27-year-old insisted he was 100 per cent fit and was not impressed with Mauricio Pochettino's decision.

"It is a thing we are going to do with different players because we have a lot of games and it is impossible to cope playing with the same starting XI, they are not machines".

'At the same time, it's the manager's decision and you look at the performance he put in tonight, it looks like Pochettino was right. "And again, there's been no bust-up, no falling-out, and I'm on the same page as the coaching staff".
