Drake's Raptors reporting stint didn't go well

Drake is on top of the rap game, but his sideline reporting skills could use some sharpening.

The Hotline Bling musician has served as the global ambassador for his hometown team since 2013, and can often be seen courtside at the Air Canada Centre.

"So Kyle, uh, you had 36, five and six tonight, I just wanna know, what prompts a performance like that?" he asked to which Lowry jokingly replied, "I watched a lot of Instagram, I saw you singing last night so it help me out a little bit with some motivation". On Wednesday night (Nov. 29), Drizzy was able to play sport reporter and interview Raptors star point guard Kyle Lowry.

During his stint in the commentary booth, the rapper also joked about opposition player Jeremy Lin's intricate tattoos, saying it looked like he had a "cryptic" code written on his leg.

Drake might be obscenely wealthy, the darling of Toronto, and friends (star-crossed lovers?) with Rihanna, but today, folks - today, he's just like you. Despite his intervention, the Raptors lost that game 109-107.
