When the Dallas Cowboys take the field against the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium, the team will be wearing navy tops with white trousers.

When the Cowboys take the field at Met Life Stadium against the Giants on Sunday, for the first time in team history the Cowboys will wear blue jerseys with white trousers.

The Cowboys wore those navy jerseys a few weeks ago for their Thanksgiving matchup against the Chargers, but they're bringing them back this weekend for a divisional game against the Giants. The Cowboys do not have an all-blue Color Rush uniform.

Per equipment manager Mike McCord, it's the first time in franchise history for this color combination. The Cowboys typically wear their white jerseys with silver trousers both at home and on the road, typically only mixing in their navy jerseys for rare, special occasions.

He said the Cowboys had to first get approval from the league because it's considered a uniform change.

The Cowboys (6-6) will take the field Sunday looking to keep their playoff hopes alive making history in a new uniform combination for the first time.
