There's no description of a specific plot line, and whether the series will follow the original movie's narrative of a brilliant high schooler who accidentally hacks into a US military supercomputer. They'll be working in partnership with the original film's distribution company MGM. Check out a trailer for the experience above.

The first teaser for #WarGames is cryptic and dark, showing only flashes of footage from the series interspersed with real TV news footage and references to Yahoo's 2013 email hack, the 2014 Sony hack, the 2016 e-robbery of a bank in Bangladesh, and the Equifax security breach. That's what awaits you in the upcoming interactive series based on the 1983 movie WarGames starring Matthew Broderick. They're led by Kelly, who the show's creator Sam Berlow (Her Story) says, "Represents the breadth of modern hacker culture and its humanity".

"With '#WarGames' I was thrilled to take the questions raised by the original movie and ask them again in a world where technology has fundamentally changed our lives".

But we still want to play the game.

"In "#WarGames", viewers will follow a group of young hackers and influence how the intriguing story unfolds. Access our comments below and tell us what you plan to do.
