Police have charged a 20-year-old woman with murdering a 17-year-old boy and with attempting to kill four other teenagers in the Perth suburb of Canning Vale yesterday.

The brawl started when two groups of people from schools in Mandurah and Canning Vale gathered for what was supposed to be an arranged fight between two male teens.

Police were called to Ranford Road at about 3.15pm to break up a fight involving a "large group" of young people at a liquor store.

It ended when a auto ploughed into a group of boys aged between 16 and 17, who were waiting at a bus stop on Eucalyptus Boulevard.

The 17-year-old went through a windscreen and died in hospital a short time later.

Three of the injured have been taken to Royal Perth Hospital in a serious but stable condition, and two others are being treated in Fiona Stanley Hospital.

The 20-year-old has also been charged with four counts of attempting to kill another student 17 and three 16-year-old boys who were involved in what police believe to be an organised schoolyard fight

"We now have two people in custody at Armadale police station who are assisting us with our enquiries", he said.

Witnesses reported seeing teens from the nearby Canning Vale College fighting before the chaos unfolded and social media posts of the fight were also circulating today.

"I was so panicked I just went back inside my house to get towels and bed sheets to help".

Roads around the crime scenes are closed with detours in place.

A red sports-style vehicle was seen at the Eucalyptus Boulevard scene with its windscreen shattered. "When I sat down I thought 'did that just happen?"
