Speaking to the Tasnim News Agency, Khaled Qadoumi described al-Quds as the redline of Muslims around the world and said the new decision taken by the USA president to recognize al-Quds as the capital of the Israeli regime has ignored warnings from inside the U.S. and unchanging principles of Palestinians.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani denounced as "provocative and dangerous" the United States decision to recognize Al-Quds (Jerusalem) as the Israeli regime's capital, calling for concerted action by Muslim and peace-loving nations to defy such an illegal measure.

Patriarch of the Holy City of Jerusalem, All Palestine and Jordan Theophilos III denounced the USA decision to move its embassy to Jerusalem and called on Jerusalemites and Arabs to unite for the protection of the Holy City.
