The VR-oriented Blood Ties chapter of 2015's Rise of the Tomb Raider has finally been added to the PC port of the game. If you ever wondered what it would be like to walk through the halls of Croft Manor, VR is the ultimate way to do so.

The VR chapter takes place in a now dilapidated Croft Manor, as Lara tries to prove her right to the family home by finding her father's will - reminiscing about her childhood and experiences along the way. Blood Ties lets players have a peek into Lara Croft's story through her own eyes, exploring the world of Rise of the Tomb Raider from a first-person perspective. However, VR support didn't come with it, leaving Oculus Rift and Vive owners out in the cold.

Until now, VR support for Blood Ties has been a PSVR-exclusive released by Square as part of its 20th anniversary celebrations for the Tomb Raider series a year ago. Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration (which includes Blood Ties and the season pass) is now half-price at £19.99 on Steam. If you bought the standard version, you'll have to buy the "Rise of the Tomb Raider 20 Year Celebration Pack".

A new update has been released today on PC for Rise of the Tomb Raider, the latest entry in the series released a while back on PC and consoles.
