The 1976 hijacking of an Air France flight by Palestinian militants is getting the Hollywood treatment in the first trailer for 7 Days in Entebbe.

Entebbe is based on the 1976 true story of four hijackers who took a plane hostage and forced it to land in Entebbe, Uganda, while they demanded the release of dozens of Palestinian terrorists. One week later, on the same day the United States celebrated its bicentennial, Israeli forces executed a mission rescuing most of the hostages.

7 Days in Entebbe comes from director José Padilha, who previously directed the 2014 Robocop remake as well as two episodes of Narcos on Netflix, which he also produces.

Rosamund Pike and Daniel Bruhl divert a plane for a goal in the trailer for 7 Days to Entebbe.

The 1971 hit "I'd Love to Change the World" by Ten Years After plays under the new trailer for "7 Days in Entebbe".

The film looks rather well done and includes quite the supporting cast - Ben Schnetzer and Vincent Cassel included.
