Lake-effect snow will be plentiful in far northeast OH, northwest Pennsylvania and southwest NY but we don't expect much more than a flurry in our area.

Winds will remain strong and there will be a minimum temperature of around -2 °C. Skies are going to become mostly clear by the evening rush hour as temperatures struggle to rise into the upper 20s and lower 30s.

The wind is expected to ease during the course of the day.

The area will remain mostly clear tonight with plummeting temperatures overnight. Highs on Sunday aren't expected to reach 40°.

North of 85, if things were to come together perfectly so that the period of coldest air and highest moisture were to overlap, it is possible to see a transition to snow. So, the far western areas will likely see the least amount of precipitation throughout this entire event.

Snow showers will arrive after midnight EST Saturday and will travel southeast over the viewing area through Saturday morning.

Another chance for accumulating snow is in the forecast for late Monday and Monday night.

Additional light snow makers are coming in here as we roll through next week. Snow will break out by early afternoon in most spots.
