This unsafe combination is what fire crews were greeted with when a prank went drastically wrong in Wolverhampton this week.

YouTube prankster, Jay Swingler (half of TGFbro) had to be freed by firefighters today after an hour-long rescue attempt.

They protected his head using a plastic bag inside the electrical appliance and then mixed seven bags of Polyfilla and poured it around his head.

The man had been stuck for 90 minutes when the firefighters were called.

"The oven was being used as a mould, and wasn't plugged in", Watch Commander Dakin continued.

It took five members of the West Midlands Fire Service to get a YouTuber's head free from a microwave in a prank gone wrong.

The rescue team had to make a video-call to their technical team for help, after which they successfully separated the microwave oven from the man's head, reported local publication News Barrhead.

Unforch the deeply stupid YouTuber hasn't been named, with all the pictures released conveniently hiding his face (what with it being cemented into a microwave and all) so we can not give him the online roasting he so deserves.

"The man was very relieved when we removed a large chunk of the Polyfilla with a screwdriver, allowing him to breathe more easily".

Photos taken at the scene show the firefighters and ambulance crews working to remove the white cooker while the man sat cross-legged next to screwdrivers, a saw and a spanner.

The 22-year-old man was filming the stunt on Wednesday for video sharing site YouTube, where prank-based channels can boast tens of millions of subscribers.

"As amusing as this sounds, this young man could quite easily have suffocated or have been seriously injured", Watch Commander Shaun Dakin said in a statement.

He added: "All of the group involved were very apologetic, but this was clearly a call-out which might have prevented us from helping someone else in genuine, accidental need".
